    Its definitely historical. I saw it in that one movie.. I don't think people understand that just because it wasn't depicted on a scroll or hieroglyphs doesn't mean someone didn't do it years ago.😂 It's good for shooting over a wall or down at someone or animal from horseback. Love your content, bro!

    hi, what did u put on ur arrows for the draw hand anchor? I tried tape but it gets removed or moved after I pull the arrow from the target

      slow draw practice lets me feel which muscles in my body is activating. also it lets me know which part of my shoulder and back need more work. in general, a good way to make your shooting cycle steady and strong. :)

    I found that for me pullups (if needed with attached weight) are the single most beneficial exercise which really helped me bring up my strength to be able to successfully draw heavy bows.....

    Historically enemy would take arrows and shoot it back. A majra was also used as you can save wood, by doubling arrow amount why cutting existing arrows into half and using a majra.

    I actually tried shooting a tong-ah a couple years ago after watching this video. Great video by the way brother. I really don't think the string is necessary though . I have been shooting with a custom tong-ah for years without a string and I think it gives you more flexibility on the way you want to hold it. what do you think?

    I noticed you shoot off the side of the grip and not the usual arrow pass.. What benefit is that? Just got Monarq a month ago and am learning.

      i shoot off my hand. arrow pass is too high for my grip on this bow. i tend to have arrow very close to my bow hand. :)

      it's same bow. the only difference is the handle is reinforced with carbon fiber so it will last longer, i hope. ^_^

    What if you permanently attached the Tong Ah to the bow? Would it still work or does it rely on the user moving the Tong Ah out of the way and doing Khatra?

      I just looked up how much long Manhu arrows are on AliBow's site, and good golly, with shipping and as I recall with all three times I've shopped from them, the really long wait times, those arrows are expensive

      you need long arrows that are heavy and stiff enough for the manchu bow.

    Thx for the video! I managed to string my 140# @ 28" tiron. I need to get much stronger though to pull it fully :P Current target is my H1 heavy 110# @28" from Alibow. Can draw it up to 24" at the moment :P

      i don't know what type of bows you like but if this helps. Alibowshop.com they have heavier poundage. not many options but you can checkout their website. Daylitearchery.com also carry some 70~80# bows. check their website. MRbows.com this is one i got my Tiron from. different designs and more options here. Afarchery thehy have some more options than other websites. many kinds of fiberglass bow in higher poundage. hope this info helped. :)
