thanks
😮
thanks!
Nice and clean..
Thanks a lot
Its definitely historical. I saw it in that one movie.. I don't think people understand that just because it wasn't depicted on a scroll or hieroglyphs doesn't mean someone didn't do it years ago.😂 It's good for shooting over a wall or down at someone or animal from horseback. Love your content, bro!
thanks a lot. it's fun to move around and shoot. i like to have more people enjoy archery this way with me :)
Nice! Very nice shooting!
thank you :)
Is that behind the head shot a historical technique? Where from ? Regardless, youre looking smooth. 😎
thanks. that's called 'Jarmaki'. one of many skills used on horseback, i think. ^_^
Shooting an arrow with the bowstring--holding hand wrapped around your head looked so cool!
thank you :)
I thought i was quite the bad ass, but your on a whole other level! Ahhhh i gotta get to the range now!
thanks. also great to hear i motivate someone. love to shoot with you or i love to see you shoot!! ^_^/
So awesome!!
Thanks!!
Love your content dude
thank you. glad it's not boring. ^_^;;
Very nice. What facility is that your in?
The avengers training facilities
Hey, Tom. ;) this is called 'Level up' studio. it's in Fayetteville.
hi, what did u put on ur arrows for the draw hand anchor? I tried tape but it gets removed or moved after I pull the arrow from the target
i don't put anything on my arrow. i think you are seeing paint i put on on the front. ^_^;
@@iyoo1oh ok, so its just a developed muscle memory, I thought its a tape wrapped around
Honor and respect from me for the mindfulness when drawing the bow. And the caution when archery. Make haste slowly! Patience is a great virtue. Best wishes, Grizzlyman😅
Hi im from indonesia
Hi im from malaysia
What is the benefit of the slow draw practice?
slow draw practice lets me feel which muscles in my body is activating. also it lets me know which part of my shoulder and back need more work. in general, a good way to make your shooting cycle steady and strong. :)
🙏
Youre an inspiration. I would like for my first warbow to be from Mrbows. Pls more Tiron 😂
thanks for kind words :)
awesome
thanks
I found that for me pullups (if needed with attached weight) are the single most beneficial exercise which really helped me bring up my strength to be able to successfully draw heavy bows.....
agree. pull ups and holding at the top. :)
Heck yeah! Thank you, guys, for the shared wisdom!
Almost there with the Tiron...
another year or so, maybe...?? ^_^;;
3:56 Hmm, seems a bit sketchy considering the Arrow Derailed and passed your hand before the Khatra.
Are you allowed to take Tong Ah and Baby Arrows to a Range?
this is my backyard. but, yes, the range i go to allows them. :)
Historically enemy would take arrows and shoot it back. A majra was also used as you can save wood, by doubling arrow amount why cutting existing arrows into half and using a majra.
Can you make me one too?
i love watching the technique .... i only shot mediterranean style until now. just ordered myself a chinese Han bow. Cant wait to try out thumb draw for the first time. Love your videos. Keep it up !!
thank you. appreciate kind words ^_^
whats that constant hammering in the background? who can concentrate with that ?
If you enjoyed yourself here, you would be in love with our course! You should consider visiting us at The Best 3D in Tennessee, located about an hour south of Nashville in Lynnville TN. We have 25 targets on a variety of terrain 😊
I actually tried shooting a tong-ah a couple years ago after watching this video. Great video by the way brother. I really don't think the string is necessary though . I have been shooting with a custom tong-ah for years without a string and I think it gives you more flexibility on the way you want to hold it. what do you think?
that sounds interesting. would you share how to shoot it without a string?
@@iyoo1 yes I would. I am open to any platform you want to use my friend. we can do a video chat or whatever you feel like. check out my tong-ah playlist on my youtube. I am shooting various objects as well with no string. 🙏
@@iyoo1 I would be happy to brother. I am open to any platform you want. We can do a video chat if you want to. Check out my Tong-ah playlist on my UA-cam page as well. that is a good place to start. I shoot all kinds of things from tong-ah' like tranquilizer darts. 🙏
@@iyoo1 yes, what platform do you want to use to talk about it. we can do a video chat?
nice
😎🙏
I love my Yarha II, the shear weight in the hand is awesome
yes, i call it 'Manchu Kick'. one of my favorite part shooting Manchu bows. :)
80 lbs 😭....I'm still working on 50lbs
i used to shoot 50 and 60 lbs. it takes time to build your body up. :)
You have reminded me to get practicing with my off hand too.
good to hear. wish i started doing this earlier. ^_^;;
@@iyoo1 Better late than never. Would be helpful if both my thumbs where the same size, need more ring's.
I noticed you shoot off the side of the grip and not the usual arrow pass.. What benefit is that? Just got Monarq a month ago and am learning.
i shoot off my hand. arrow pass is too high for my grip on this bow. i tend to have arrow very close to my bow hand. :)
In terms of shooting experience, how is this one compared to the previous Yarha 2? It looks different somehow.
it's same bow. the only difference is the handle is reinforced with carbon fiber so it will last longer, i hope. ^_^
Sounds like someone throwing Roundhouse Kicks in the background.
What if you permanently attached the Tong Ah to the bow? Would it still work or does it rely on the user moving the Tong Ah out of the way and doing Khatra?
Hello from Romania. Super shoot!
hello~ thanks ^0^
I admire how much control you have to be able to hold back 80 lbs for a few seconds before release~ The Ukoala bag quiver looks really nice!
thanks. trying to be more steady. :)
Nice! I really want a manchu bow but the long arrows are really expensive
Ali Express, 6 x 33in wood or bamboo arrows with feather fletching's for £18-£24.
@@palmer3977 too short for me
@@palmer3977 thats too short for me. I would want more like 34 or 35 inch arrows which are a lot more expensive. also im not buying arrows from aliexpress
I just looked up how much long Manhu arrows are on AliBow's site, and good golly, with shipping and as I recall with all three times I've shopped from them, the really long wait times, those arrows are expensive
you need long arrows that are heavy and stiff enough for the manchu bow.
Thx for the video! I managed to string my 140# @ 28" tiron. I need to get much stronger though to pull it fully :P Current target is my H1 heavy 110# @28" from Alibow. Can draw it up to 24" at the moment :P
Thank you!
Thank you for the video upload, I've been wanting to build one of these and didnt know where to start .
You handled like it was nothing
Thanks
i wish i had a friend to do this with xD id make them so many arrows
i have made many arrows. making arrows and playing with resin is fun :)
@@iyoo1 i agree! making arrows is super fun! you should do a video!
2nd arrow super heavy or heavy ?? How many grains thickness and weight
Do you happen to know where i can buy a war bow? I have been looking for Scythian war bow for a while now without any luck. I would appritiate if you could help me out.
i don't know what type of bows you like but if this helps. Alibowshop.com they have heavier poundage. not many options but you can checkout their website. Daylitearchery.com also carry some 70~80# bows. check their website. MRbows.com this is one i got my Tiron from. different designs and more options here. Afarchery thehy have some more options than other websites. many kinds of fiberglass bow in higher poundage. hope this info helped. :)
@@iyoo1Thanks a lot.
